Pakistan was hidding Iran’s military aircrafts at airfields near Islamabad to shield them from American strikes

If this reporting is accurate, it would require a complete reevaluation of the role Pakistan is playing as mediator between Iran, the United States and other parties. Given some of the prior statements by Pakistani defense officials towards Israel, I would not be shocked if this were true.

Pakistan quietly allowed Iran to park military aircraft — including an RC-130 reconnaissance plane — at its strategic Nur Khan Air Base near Rawalpindi, even as Islamabad publicly presented itself as a mediator between Tehran and Washington. Iran also moved civilian aircraft to Afghanistan, with one Mahan Air plane relocated from Kabul to Herat for safety during Pakistan’s airstrikes on Kabul in March. Pakistan and Afghan Taliban officials denied the claims, while U.S. officials say the arrangement appeared aimed at shielding Iranian assets from American strikes. Source: CBS
