Banuk Sanjan (on the left) died today, June 21st, 2014, in Dasht while she was tending her goats. She was suffering from fever and dehydrated due to exposure to extreme heat. Baloch people have lost a very rare and precious female voice of ballad singing. This is really a sad day for us as her death coincided with the World Music Day.
