Pakistan must be stopped immediately from conducting a perpetual genocide on Baloch people

On Sunday 3^rd 2025, according to Mr Qadeer Baloch, the Vice Chairperson of the Voice for Missing Persons, 45 mutilated bodies of missing Baloch people are lying in the mortuary of Quetta General Hospital.

It is not reported by the Pakistan how and where these mutilated bodies of these 45 missing Baloch were found.

Pakistan has a policy of keeping such act of genocide utterly secret. But it is undoubtedly the criminal act of the Pakistani Army. The Pakistani Army has been conducting such massacres at least since the current resistance of Baloch for freedom begun in 2002.

The Tootak mass-grave was found on the 27^th January 2014.

The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) reported that “More than 100 dead bodies from three mass graves were found in one district of Balochistan- Tootak”.

The Pakistani Army has been carrying the policy of “Kill-and-Dump” and of Enforced-Disappearance in Balochistan non-stop on daily basis since the Baloch resistance begun in 2002. Prior to the discovery of 45 mutilated bodies, there are 14 thousand of enforced disappearances of Baloch persons, and of 355 Baloch mutilated bodies since 2002 according to the report published on the 4^th April 2025 by the “Baloch-Ki-Awaz”.

Very often the Pakistani Army stages Fake-Encounters in Balochistan to deceive the World.

Balochistan right now is at total mercy of Pakistan and Pakistani genocidal Army. Pakistan in 1971 conducted a colossal genocide in Bangladesh.

Pakistan must be stopped immediately from conducting a perpetual genocide on Baloch people. The free world must not remain silent, and act urgently.

Baloch lives matter, and it is a vivid human rights issue. Unless substantial actions are taken against these genocidal acts of Pakistan, the Baloch will suffer even more.

We find it so shocking to learn the news of 45 mutilated bodies of missing of Baloch persons – enforced disappearances at the Quetta mortuary.

Baluchistan National Movement in the strongest terms condemns Pakistan for conducting genocide on Baloch people.

We urge the UN Chief Commissioner for the Human Rights, and also urge the Amnesty International and the Human Rights Watch to send their representatives to conduct thorough investigation on this genocidal act by Pakistan on Baloch people. We shall be raising the dire human rights situation of Balochistan in writing to the UN, the Human Rights Watch and the Amnesty International.

SHAAL (QUETTA):The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has confirmed that its top leadership, including Chairperson Dr. Mahrang, along with senior members Shah Ji Sibghatullah, Beebagar Baloch, Beebow Baloch, and Gulzadi Baloch, has entered the fourth consecutive day of a hunger strike inside jail. The hunger strike is in protest against torture, harassment, and unjust treatment by state authorities.

According to a statement issued by the BYC spokesperson, the health of the detained leaders is rapidly deteriorating. The protest was launched after Beebow Baloch was forcibly transferred from Huda Jail in Quetta to Pishin Jail, and following reports of violent assaults by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police personnel on Dr. Mahrang, Beebow Baloch, and Gulzadi Baloch inside prison premises. The president spoke with NBC’s Kristen Welker in an early-morning phone call and told the host of Meet the Press that there would be “bombing” if Iran did not negotiate with the US, or if a deal was not reached as a result of those talks.

A joint condemnation statement by Baluch political Parties

We strongly condemn the unlawful arrest of Dr Mahrang Baloch by Pakistan, and demand her immediate unconditional release.

On Saturday 22nd March Dr Mahrang Baloch, the leading member of the Baloch Solidarity Committee (Baloch Yakjahati Committee) was forcefully detained by the brutal forces of Pakistani state in Quetta. Her leading member Ms Bibo and others too were also detained in a brutal manner.

Dr Mahrang Baloch among hundreds of other brave Baloch human rights defenders, was participating in a very peaceful protest against the arbitrary and unlawful arrest of the BYC members, other enforced disappearance in Balochistan and against the fake encounter in which 30 were killed by the Pakistani forces. The Pakistani forces opened live fire on the peaceful Baloch protesters and began using extreme suppressive and brutal measures.

Sadly, one Baloch child and two other protesters were killed by Pakistan. It is a fact that Pakistan is waging an open war on those who demand freedom, justice and their rights. Following the unlawful arrests of Dr Mahrang Baloch and her colleagues, the Pakistani forces also unlawfully arrested Professor Ilyas Baloch, a prominent member of the Bolan Medical college on utterly unfounded allegations.

Pakistan at this juncture is facing the vivid rise of Baloch for their rights and aspirations. Hence it is violating every international norm on human rights of the Baloch people. The fact is that Pakistan is committing a genocide in Balochistan.

Pakistan must not be allowed to repeat the unimaginable geocide of Bangladesh in Balochistan. The international community bears its share of responsibility on prevailing and defending human rights, wherever it is. Balochistan too must be defended against the Perpetual atrocities by Pakistan.

We the undersigned political parties strongly condemn the unlawful arrests of Dr Mahrang Baloch and the BYC members, and the arrest of Prof Ilyas Baloch. We also utterly condemn the killing of the Baloch Child and other two protesters.

We vehemently denounce Pakistan for the ongoing fake encounters on Baloch people.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Dr Mahrang and her colleagues and of Prof Ilyas Baloch, and an end to the enforced disappearance. All the people who are arbitrarily and unlawfully arrested and now are unaccounted for must be released too without any delay.

Sadly, as this statement was due for release, the news of unlawful arrests of another two prominent leaders of BYC, Ms Sami Deen and Lala Wahab Baloch and a number of other Baloch activists by the Pakistani State reached us. Hereby we strongly condemn the arrests of Ms Sami Deen and Lala Wahab Baloch and all other Baloch activists by the Pakistani state. And we demand their immediate release.

The struggle of the Baloch people for freedom and justice shall prevail.
